Il trittico (The Triptych) is the last opera Giacomo Puccini completed before leaving the posthumous Turandot unfinished. In it, the composer from Lucca, always in search of new formulas, proposes three operas in one that correspond to the three parts of Dante's The Divine Comedy. Thus, Il tabarro constitutes a verista hell; Suor Angelica, a desolate purgatory and Gianni Schicchi takes us to comedy paradise. Three radically contrasted works united by a common link: the unmistakable mastery of Puccini. Artistic sheet Antoni Colomer is a cultural manager, critic and music promoter.
