The Círculo del Liceo convened a talk with Francesc Fontbona, a member of teh Club, about the art collection that Pau Casals acquired throughout his life.
The first works that Casals collected had been received as a gift, but from 1920 the composer became a great assiduous collector of most art galleries in Barcelona.

Francesc Fontbona, art historian and leading scholar of the period, is the author of the book 'Pau Casals, Col·leccionista d'art', among other outstanding works.
