Presentation of Esperanza Aguirre's book
'Sin Complejos'
Monday, 09 April 19:00
* Private and exclusive events for members of the Círculo del Liceo

The Círculo del Liceo invited Esperanza Aguirre to present her new book Sin Complejos, together with Santiago Fisas.

A person of firm beliefs, Esperanza Aguirre has always advocated the liberal path in politics and economics since she was convinced, already in her youth, by the classics such as Adam Smith, J. Hayeck and others. Freedom of choice offers more possibilities than narrow dogma. Esperanza has most often exercised her determined conviction in her political career and in her personal life, principles that she now unapologetically advises to her fellow party members and readers in her courageous book.

Esperanza Aguirre is a Spanish politician, Minister of Education and Culture between 1996 and 1999, president of the Senate between 1999 and 2002 and president of the Community of Madrid between 2003 and 2012.

Santiago Fisas was mayor of Barcelona in 1999, first vice president of the Spanish Olympic Committee and Minister of Culture and Sports of the Community of Madrid. Between 1996 and 2004, he was a member of the Executive Commission and Governing Board of the Consortium and of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation of the Gran Teatro del Liceo.
