The Círculo del Liceo inaugurated a new space for musical programming: The Clandestine. In this first event, Dr. Enric Vázquez gave the conference 'Brief history and aesthetics of Jazz', with musical accompaniment and a recital by Ignasi Terraza.

Enric Vázquez is a Doctor of Geological Sciences, Professor of Construction Materials from 1986 to 2010 and Professor Emeritus from 2010.
He was co-founder of the Jubilee Jazz Club in 1958, advisor to the Jamboree Jazz Club and member of the Organizing Committee of the first two Barcelona Jazz Festivals.

Ignasi Terraza is one of the most outstanding jazz pianists in the Spanish State with a great international projection. In 2009 he was distinguished with the first prize of the Jacksonville International Jazz Piano Competition in the United States. He has accompanied the likes of Frank Wess, Lou Donaldson, Benny Goldson, John Faddis and Jesse Davis.
