José Antonio Domené graduated from the Real Conservatorio Superior de Música in Madrid, in the chair of Mª Rosa Calvo-Manzano and, later, in the Royal College of Music in London, under the direction of Ieuan Jones. He was the winner of the RCM Harp Competition and obtained the Artist Diploma under the direction of Ieuan Jones and Rachel Masters (London Philharmonic Orchestra). Domené has collaborated with some of the most outstanding Spanish orchestras, directed by teachers such as Davis, Luisotti, Pons, Soler, Posada, Nielsen or Ros-Marbà. He regularly collaborates with the Gran Teatre del Liceu Symphony Orchestra, the Bilbao Symphony or the Balearic Islands one. He has played at the Auditorio Nacional de Música, the Teatro Real and l'Auditori. He was selected to participate in the RCM's Rising Stars Concerts programming with two concerts at London's Cadogan Hall and Wigmore Hall. He has performed the concerts of Mozart, Debussy, Castelnuovo-Tedesco and Lancen with various Spanish orchestras, as well as accompanied singers in the programs of the Teatro de la Zarzuela and LifeVictoria in Barcelona, ​​among others. At an international level, he has collaborated with the Massachusetts Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestra of the Teatro Regio in Turin, the Oporto Symphony Orchestra or the Saint Petersburg State Orchestra, under the direction, among others, of the masters Davis, Halffter, König, Noseda or Válek. Among his recordings are the work Dialogue by Joan Manén, for a string trio, flute and harp, the Concerto for harp by Serge Lancen and the album Aires de España in a harp duo with Davide Burani.
