The book begins with a Kalashnikov and ends, fifty years later, with flowers. All on a balcony in Beirut. This is the story of the longest-serving Western journalist in the Middle East. Tomás Alcoverro has a degree in Law and Journalism. He has been a correspondent for La Vanguardia in the Middle East since 1970. Throughout his career he has published around seven thousand chronicles and received numerous awards.
