Diego Gómez Pickering has a degree in International Relations and Development, a master's degree in Development Journalism and another masters in International Affairs. In 2013 he was appointed Ambassador of Mexico to the United Kingdom and between 2016 and 2018 he served as General Consul of Mexico in New York. He has been decorated by the government of the United Kingdom with the Royal Victorian Order as Knight Commander and by the government of Guatemala with the Antonio José de Irisarri Order as Grand Officer. He is the author of six books, being the most recent of them "Letters from New York" (Taurus, 2020). |
