The Círculo del Liceo is pleased to invite you to the Lunch-Colloquium "Digital Revolution, society and new business models" with Bernardo Hernández, entrepreneur and investor in new technologies.

Bernardo Hernández is founder of idealista.com and has participated in other companies as a business angel (Tuenti, Wallapop, Glovo, Fever and Verse, among others). He worked for Google as Marketing Director for Spain and later as Senior Vice President of Product Management globally. He has been CEO of Flickr and Senior Vice President of Product at Yahoo. Between 2016 and 2018 he was a member of the Desigual Board of Directors in Barcelona. He has been a member of the jury of the Princess of Asturias Awards for Scientific and Technical Research, the Advisory Council of the 800th anniversary of the University of Salamanca, the Advisory Council of the 40 years of the Spanish Constitution and of the Innovation Council of the Ministry of Justice.
He has been included in the list of the 25 most influential people on the Internet in Spain published by El Mundo for 10 consecutive years. In 2013 he was named Man of the Year by GQ magazine for his entrepreneurial work in technology. He is currently CEO of Verse, Inc, recently acquired by Square, Inc.
