Managing the security in Barcelona is a challenge that must be addressed integrally, in other words, it is not just a police issue, it is also a judicial issue, of taking care of public space, of coexistence and proximity, of fighting against inequality, and especially, it is a prevention issue. In Barcelona, ​​as in most cosmopolitan capitals, it is necessary to build a a security system that involves all operators related with security, coexistence and security perception. Albert Batlle is a lawyer and politician. He practiced law until 1983, the year in which he began his political career as a councilman in the Barcelona City Council with several responsibilities (Sports Councilor, Councilor of the Horta-Guinardó district and member of the Sports Department of the Diputació de Barcelona).
